Use a measuring tape to wrap around the area you'd like to have your waistbeads rest. Take the measurements in inches.  Ensure that the measuring tape is hugging the area comfortably-not to tight and not too loose. 

 

There are three main areas that you can measure at:

1. Upper waist- about 3-5 inches above the navel/belly button 

2. At the waist- in line with the belly button

3. On the hips- about 3 inches below the navel

Please ensure that there are seven lines between each inch on the measuring tape that you use; not all measuring tape are created equally.
